When was the last time we had a democratic president and a strong military and defense? Normally a Democratic government represents a weaker military budget and a stronger civil type programs. The current administration seems to want both. To President Barack Obama's credit, you cannot say he was wavered on military spending or other Defense programs. In fact, he has made moves to increase them bolster them, and constantly seeks ways to hold joint excersises as shows of strength across the world. This is counter to what most Democrats would do. So what does this tell us? Our current President is not your normal run of the mill. There does seem to be an agenda and it is a quite different one from any other one that America has seen. This weekend The United States is holding joint exercises with South korea. North Korea is jumping up and down protesting and threatening "powerful nuclear deterrence" and a "retaliatory sacred war." Obama and Clinton are undeterred. North Korea does need to be shown that The United States stand ready and willing to defend the area in case Kim Jong ever stops talking and begins to act. However, what strikes me as a wild extreme is how does all this help the average American? Is that not what Mr. Obama set out to do, change? My hypothesis, given the track record, is that there are other forces at working within the United States Government. Call them Shadow government or quasi government branches that are pulling the strings, ordering the moves and receiving the funding and money. The American Economy is now built and dependent on the Military Industrial Complex. This complex network of defense companies and contractors cannot operate or flourish in a free world. The Military Industrial complex relies on fear, hints of danger and down right War. These moves and decisions being made within the united States Government only gives needed rise to the immediacy of a total change in Congress and entrenched politicians in Washington. Since taking office President Obama has increased the forces in Afghanistan, is still inside Iraq and is now courting potential war in Asia. These moves are highly questionable given his Democratic affiliation and logs one more fact that he has come to our Presidency not as a man of peace and free will but as a warrior that poses as a prince of peace. America needs to return to a manufacturing and production economy and not just tanks and guns. America needs a fundamental change in their thoughts and decisions when spending money and constantly engaging in wars abroad is not the answer to jumpstart this economy. The United States has been using this model for years and frankly it is not working. When the economy begins to tank, a war is started or a fog of war. America then cranks up the factories and churns out all war type economical products. This model worked fine years ago when most of the Military Industriall Complex factories were within the United States, however, Boeing,NorthrupuGrummanan, Lockheed etc are all now multi national Corporations with factories everywhere so who benefits frotheirir success? There are other forces at work in the United States now. Whether these forces are connected and working together to bring The United States to their knees is an unknown. But the federal Reserve, the military Industrial Complex, Big Banks all seem to be operating to bankrupt America and pocket the hoard for themselves.
